H&M creates a designer collaboration collection each year to offer their luxury looks at more affordable prices. This year, H&M partnered with the London-based brand Erdem, which is a favoriteof Duchess Kate Middleton, helmed by Canadian and Turkish designer Erdem Moralioglu.
I was honored to be asked to do an exclusive preview of the collection for Fox11’s Good Day LA.
This collection comes on the heels of KENZO, Balmain, and Alexander Wang, at number 17 for the brand. Erdem has designed a brand-new collection for women, and for the first time ever, a collection for men for the new ERDEM x H&M collaboration.
For ERDEM x H&M he’ll reflect and reinterpret the design themes from some of his most celebrated collections, playing with prints, textiles and the delicate craftsmanship that have made his name
Trends: Jacquard and frill; feminine dresses are decorated with signature wildflower blooms, Victoriana white blouses hide discreet black ribbons at the nape of the neck; sequin slip dresses with ribbon bra straps, black lace Wednesday Addams dresses and sleeveless snowdrop-sprig ballgowns.
The collection includes men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, ranging in price from $29.99-$299
High Heel Jungle’s very own Kathryn Eisman and stylist Marcellas Reynolds offered a sneak peek of a few favorite looks on Fox 11’s Good Day LA.
